Can MySpace survive without free music streaming? →
The band pages on MySpace are really the only thing keeping people over the age of 12 (who feel the need to incessantly edit their profiles with custom flashy/trashy backgrounds) going to MySpace. What will happen when they no longer offer free streaming music? I know: people will just suck it up and download from iTunes/Amazon before updating their Facebook status to say that MySpace is so 2004.
The fiction of pop culture opens a space for the systemization of print culture.
– I totally agree. I think.
