We went X-mas shopping all day and are now watching The Family Stone. When Rachel McAdams came on screen, I started to wonder why I haven’t seen previews for The Time Traveler’s Wife. Apparently, it’s now pushed back until 2009. Unfair. Sidenote: my hands smell like lemon from making Christmas cookies (first time eva!). Party central.

So, everyone’s upset about Rick Warren speaking at Obama’s inauguration. I may be separating myself from almost everyone I know, but I am not pissed about this. The way I see it is: Obama is cleverly reaching across the aisle (there’s that phase again) to include someone with a different background from his own, to show people who didn’t support him that he respects them...
